FLAMINGO LAND RESORT

Flamingo Land Resort is a theme park, zoo and resort based in Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire, England.

 

 Theme Park

Flamingo Land Resort's theme park has rides for all the family. They have 8 thrill seeker rides including Mumbo Jumbo which held the Guinness World Book of Record for the World's Steepest Rollercoaster made from steel until 2011, with a a 112° inverted drop.  

The park also has 16 different family friendly rides, to make sure that all the family can all enjoy the rides together. They didn't forget about the little ones either. The park also includes lots of rides for your little monsters,  making sure that they can get involved as much as you! A day around the theme park can be tiring however the park have four different methods of transport to get you around and save your energy on a busy day.

 Zoo

Flamingo Land Resort's zoo is home to over 60 different species of animals. These include mammals, farm animals, birds and reptiles. They also offer animal experiences both free and at a low cost. These experiences include:

•  Keeper talks - to understand how the animals are looked after and live

•  Animal encounters - giving guests the chance to feed an animal at the zoo

•  Be a Zookeeper - Discover what it is like to be a zoo keeper at the resort

Resort

The park has a large holiday village with static caravans, a leisure complex, swimming pool and café. There is also The Club and Zoo Bar, an entertainment venue which is exclusive for owners and holiday guests. It is a venue capable of holding over 1000 people and includes a large stage. The entertainment includes bingo, kids activities & disco, resident shows as well as light entertainment performed by visiting cabaret acts. There is also a small supermarket for guests to buy any supplies they may need.
